Ratio of A: B:C: D is 5:2:4:3. C gets 2000 more than B, how much B get?

  1. 1500
  2. 3000
  3. 2500
  4. 2000

Let the shares of A, B, C, and D be 5x, 2x, 4x and 3x respectively.

B shares = 2x

C shares = 4x

Then, 4x−2x=2000   ___  given

=> 2x=2000.

=> x=1000

∴ B’s share =2x

=(2×1000)

Rs.2000.
